PLIANT RECOGNIZES INTENT

Unlike other systems that rely on “literal” queries, Enterprise AI recognizes “intent”.

For instance, a literal customer search for “Thomas Smith” or “17 Fulcrum Street Apt. 79” would flag no data (shown bottom left) due to nicknames, misspellings, abbreviations, typographical errors or other variations. Yet, a person and Pliant would recognize each as a potential match.

Enterprise AI can readily manage these known issues that affect finding and properly integrating information:

  • Customer records in one system (that has entire “Address” in one field) and Billing records in another (that has “Address” spread across five separate fields -- Address1, Address2, City, State, Zip).

  • The word, “bass”, in a document that could be related to either fish or music.

  • “John”, “Jonathan”, “J.” or (misspelling) “Jhn”, all found in the same field.

  • In one language, the word, “house”, and, in another language, “casa”.

Pliant’s patented semantic architecture and algorithms automate the entire solution to these challenges.
