The following tutorials show you how to search nearly 12 million documents and find the two most relevant in under a minute by typing one word and performing nine mouse-clicks that define your intent.
No other content search technology can do this, and Pliant's response times are measured in milliseconds.
STEP 1 TUTORIAL
In this tutorial, a key word is typed into Pliant and the Search Button is clicked. Note: that either a "Literal" or "Intent-Based" key word search can be performed.
Pliant finds the key word in over 147,000 documents (out of the 12 million total). All search engines can do this, but the problem is 147,000 documents is too many for a person to review in a reasonable amount of time. So Pliant automatically generates a list of potentially relevant topics to narrow your search.

STEP 2 TUTORIAL
A topic is selected and the Search Button is clicked.
Potentially relevant documents are reduced by two orders of magnitude (down from 147,494 to 2,482 documents).
STEP 3 TUTORIAL
A topic is selected and the Search Button is clicked.
Potentially relevant documents are now reduced by two more orders of magnitude (down from 2,482 to 172).
STEP 4 TUTORIAL
A topic is selected and the Search Button is clicked.
Potentially relevant documents are reduced 172 to 18, which a number that a person can easily review.
STEP 5 TUTORIAL
A topic is selected and the Search Button is clicked.
(1) word entered + (9) mouse-clicks later, and the two most relevant documents (hidden among 11.8 million) are found in seconds.
At the bottom of this tutorial page is a summary of the semantics variations used for the intent-based search, which can be modified to further personalize and tune the semantics system's performance.
