GrowthNet to Support Technology Cluster Development

GrowthNet has been selected to be a member of the Founding Committee for a new Dallas-Fort Worth National Homeland Security Think-Tank and will participate in its mission development and working structure. The Think-Tank will be composed of industry experts from diverse markets, such as:
  • Communications (products, services)
  • Wireless (technology, local and wide area network applications)
  • Transportation and Infrastructure (aviation, train, ports, airports, roads)
  • Natural Resources (energy, oil & gas)
  • Municipal Level Government (fire, hospital, police)
  • Top National Security Government Agencies (FBI, Defense)
  • Security and Technology Experts (private and public sectors)
The Think-Tank intends to build a consortium of professionals that will create and grow National Security technology clusters. The committee will foster industry partnerships and business alliances that will:
  • Meet emerging market needs in terms of infrastructure, products, and services.
  • Deliver strategies and solutions to meet government National Security goals.
  • Review and respond to RFPs and RFIs that relate to National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP).
  • Develop security solutions that will assist in achieving National Security objectives.
  • Partner with large corporations to establish proper fund allocation for projects, R&D, efforts for technological diversification, to capitalize on market opportunities for security solutions, and allocate resources for project execution.
  • Review market segment changes that must be made to meet National Security objectives.
  • Help build infrastructures that meet high-demand, secure digital, voice, and data needs.
